Weekly Challenge 1

It is April 4th and as promised the very first weekly contest is here. So, first lets go over the rules....
1. In order to enter you have to be a follower, so if you aren't already click that follow button!
2. The project you create must be your own...no direct scrap-lifting allowed (instead get creative, I know you can!)
3. Follow the parameters that are set for that weeks challenge, otherwise....we won't be able to include you in the drawing for that week....but will still love looking at your artwork anyways.
4. Entries must be posted by that weeks Sunday at 7:00 PM.
5. Just put your link up in the comments section of the blog to your work.  If you do not have your creation posted in a web format somewhere, don't worry, simply email me your pic at talldreamsdesign@gmail.com and I will get it on the site!

Now onto the challenge!  Since it is SPRING (or at least that's what they keep saying, we still have a LARGE snow pile in the back yard) I figured we could do a creative twist on a springtime card, bugs.  So yes, this weeks challenge is a card that somehow incorporates insects! It can be a nice little girls card with a butterfly, or a 'icky' boys card with a worm! As long as it has a bug or ten and is about spring! Have great fun with this one, be creative and let your imagination wander back to when you were a child and either LOVED or HATED those little creepy crawlies!

Since our boys, or at least the oldest two love to pick up, hold, watch, and play with BUGS, I figured that they will pick the winner! I know not scientific, but fun!  I will narrow is down to the top five (hoping we have that many entries) and they will pick the winner from those.  I will post the winner on the Monday following the contest along with the fab five, and that weeks NEW challenge.

And of course there will be a weekly prize....this weeks prize is a package of Dimensional Elements from the Organic line from Close To My Heart, of Course.  For every 10 people that enter, I will add another small prize! So tell your friends!

I cannot wait to see the wonderful cards that all of you talented people are going to make! To get your creativity flowing I made a few bug themed cards....here is just one to get you started.  This is a great card for the little munchkin in your life!
